My OE clutch had 40,000 miles on it, and was giving my quite a bit of trouble. Both slipping as well as problems with disengaging. After installing this clutch, those problems went away. This clutch is smooth and progressive, it feels good.So far I have put about 200-300 miles on the pack, with a few hard launches. I won't know how durable it is for a while, so if I end up with any issues in terms of longevity, that will be the final deciding factor in my overall opinion. I will be happy if last 20,000 miles. If I get another 40K out of it, I will be ecstatic about the value.I have included a photo to compare the OE friction disks with the Barnett disks. You can see there is a bit of difference between the friction material pad size and composition. Also the OE clutch comes with two different types of disks which differ in the pad size & count per disk. I have no idea why the OE clutch is this way, but it is worth noting that the Barnett clutch doesn't replicate this configuration and has only a single type of disk/pad configuration. The OE clutch are the pair I am holding in the photo, with the Barnett disks installed in the basket. (Note: I did fix the issue with the top disk being in the wrong fingers on the basket, oops.)
