It's a wonder that this simple kit hasn't been adapted or adopted by manufacturers of all portable home generators. The kit, as delivered, is not a universal fit across different manufacturers - it would not work with my Caterpillar CAT RP7500 E generator, for example. But it wasn't hard to adapt the kit to fit my generator; I used a few "J" clamps and U-bolts to secure the axles to the generator frame. Aside from that, the 10" wheels and pneumatic tires are perfectly sized for a portable home generator, and the tires eliminate much of the vibration from a running generator when on a solid surface like a deck or patio.
