I bought these to use at my daughter's baby shower. They were much nicer than I thought, I made a created a center insert to match our themeUpdating my review : When I first purchased this item, I was missing all the dinner plates (only received the salad plates).After trying to contact the seller a cpl of times, we finally had a response, and they graciously sent me the dinner plates, whiting 2 days.They are beautiful, a nice little touch If you must use disposable items.These plates are so cute and such a lovely shape and shade of purple. However unless you’re eating salad or keeping them on a flat surface I wouldn’t use them. Good for light weight items cake or dessert or a salad or a small itemsFor the price I thought they would be much more sturdy. They are quite flimsy. If you hold a half full plate with one hand, it's starts to fold inward.I like that it's very pretty! My daughter wanted purple plates, and I was happy to find plates without BPA that was purple. I didn't like that it is so thin. I expected that,for this price, it would be sturdier. In the picture it looks like sturdy plastic, but each plate itself has is so thin that the purple is almost see through.These plates are cute but they are very very thin. To they are semi transparent. If you just want these for a light food item such as a cupcake or some crackers it should suffice, but I do not suggest serving a full meal on them!With all of that said, they are cute in a place setting.Excellent party setI ordered for a beach themed party. The plates themselves are very colorful but kinda flimsy.Bought these for a baby shower and they were perfect! The plates were better quality than I was expecting for the price. I will definitely be buying again for my next event.I have ordered this combo before and its great to get the combo package for the price and product quality, color choices etc.. recommend to anyone having a party!These are very thin. I was expecting better quality for the price. I will not order anything that come from Tiger Chef again.
